Looking for ways to gain more exposure for Feedster… I had a friend email me this picture today. Thought you would enjoy it!

Background story (this is literally true and happened to me today):

It’s not everyday that you see a truly savage form of gorilla marketing. 2017 is a fast-paced digital explosion of business competition all within a virtual world. That’s why I was absolutely floored when I saw this gorilla marketing tactic today. While driving home in dense urban traffic, I saw a destroyed car on the side of the road. It was strategically parked in a legal zone right on the corner of one the busiest intersections. There was a sign on it that said “Take Lyft” $20, don’t drive drunk ($5,000).” I love this form of gorilla marketing so much that I literally parked my car at first chance. I got out of my car and walked up close to it so that I could take a picture. I just had to share this brilliant gorilla marketing tactic with Lyft Marketingyou! (See Featured Image)

Notice the sign called out Lyft, not Uber, and not “take a taxi”. Most people would overlook this minor detail, or maybe even think it’s just a funny joke. But, as an experienced marketer this stuck out to me like a sore thumb. I know Uber and Lyft are in the middle of a bloodbath completion, always fighting for urban turf and brand recognition. It’s very clear that Lyft has taken their marketing skills to a whole new level!
