Thanks for your interest in writing for Feedster!
Anyone can write on Feedster.com and have their own place to share information with the world. We will review posts and choose some to be featured as top stories and staff picks.
This particular page is more related to staff writers. We are looking for writers, guest posters, guest bloggers on the regular, guest bloggers willing to trade spots, and journalist looking to branch out and place their news in new places.

If you write great content that covers something in depth, you add visuals that enhance the post, and you are willing to promote the post with paid social or google ppc – Then you definitely have a strong chance of gaining at least one try out posting.
If you are an author who brings an audience (already has a following) then you definitely have a strong chance of gaining opportunity to post.

What does Feedster.com have to offer?
The reality is that we will not always be in this position. We will obviously be able to gain writers and will become very selective about who can post and what types of links they can place on the site and in their articles. Right now to keep the cost down we are asking for your help and in exchange you get to have some great posts on an authority website.

If you target a keyword then feedster has a great chance of showing up in the top 30 searches. If you build backlinks to that post then your chances rise. Promote your post and get social shares. You have a great chance at seeing a lot of traffic to your post.

What should I write about?
To get a sense for the type of work we publish, read our site! We like practical, actionable advice, posts that will help the reader gain insight and knowledge on the subject. Please write in the “you” voice as much as possible, then support your advice with personal experience or stories.
Do you pay?
Typically, no, aside from the occasional assigned post. Your contribution to Feedster.com gets you a byline and two-sentence bio that includes a link or two to whatever you’d like to promote your website, Twitter feed, latest ebook, etc. We’ll also share your post in our newsletter, and on Twitter and Facebook, to help you reach as many readers as possible.
How long should my posts be?
Aim for 600-900 words or longer.
Should I pitch you my idea before writing the post?
If you’d like to, go ahead. But we’re happy to consider a draft as well.
Should I include links within the piece?
Yes. Please include links that will be helpful and relevant for the reader they can be to appropriate posts on your site or on any other news site or blog. When you can link to other posts on Feedster, that makes us happy, too.
Insert links in your copy via anchor text or keywords, for example, like this if you’re writing about networking. No HTML, please!
Should I write a headline?
That’d be great! We reserve the right to tweak it for SEO, style or just to make it more attention-grabbing. But if you want to suggest one, that makes our job easier.
Will you edit my post?
We’ll edit for content and clarity, doing our best to keep your voice. You’ll be able to see our edits in your author account.
Anything else I should keep in mind?
Posts should be written in blog style, with short paragraphs and lots of white space. Including a few sub-headings is much appreciated, and please use only one space between sentences!
Should I include a photo?
Yes if you can give accountability that it is common reuse or you own the rights to it.
What about my headshot?
Our system uses your email to grab your headshot from Gravatar, so make sure your photo is uploaded there.
What should I do after I submit my post?
When it runs, we hope you’ll be active in the comments, responding to readers’ questions or thoughts. You should also try to grab some social attention and maybe buy some ads.
When we look at the analytic’s of your post and see a spike in traffic (with low bounce rates) we smile and send emails to invite you back…
