The advantages of owning a startup are obvious: being your own boss, making something from scratch, delivery worth to the people around you and, of course, creating a bit of coin along the way. Sadly, not everybody cut out to be an entrepreneur. To run a decent business you have got to be able to assume the correct role.
Being successful usually means learning from those who have already achieved their goals. Having a mentor is an incredible blessing to an entrepreneur, however, not everybody can find one in person. Have a good business plan
Planning plays an important role in any business success. A business plan may be a good place to start out – defining your skills and weaknesses, what you offer, how it’s unique and the way you plan on growing your offering. Don’t afraid to ask for help
There are a lot of resources out there for networking, information sharing, and advice. Networking isn’t only for new business opportunities, it can be a wonderful source of support and recent ideas. Attend events like Leaderex and My Biz Expo. Don’t hesitate to ask for advice from those around you (such as your intermediary, bank manager, property owner or neighboring businesses), or on-line forums and Facebook community groups in your area.

Starting a business is exponentially tougher than another alternative job. Prosperous entrepreneurs need to operate well across a range of functions: marketing, sales, operations, finance, HR, etc. On top of that, making an enterprise from scratch needs creativeness, persistence and continuous learning.
Listen to Your purchasers
Truly listen and understand with your purchasers. Most are so interested in obtaining their own personal message across, that nobody pauses for a moment to really listen and hear the root of the matter or pain. Trust in listening 80% of the time, clarifying 10% of the time, and responding wholeheartedly and intentionally, is 10% of the time.
