Friday the 13th Review

Friday the 13th Review:
This movie was the remake of the standout cult classic hit by the same name, but not really. What I really can’t decide about remakes is if that if they’re nothing like the original, should it be regarded as a sequel or a real reboot?
This movie could be a sequel but is called a remake just for the money or because it actually tries to stand on its own. Now the acting in this is okay. In Texas, it was alright and in Halloween it was good but here it’s just okay.
Now the plot is nothing original and I kinda like that. The film brings almost nothing new to the genre but appeals to longtime fans of the franchise by adding creative kills and an awesome Jason. Jason gets a sick reimagining in this, much like his Freddy and Michael counterparts.
This film doesn’t deserve to be a kickstarter of a new franchise and I felt it could’ve been more of another installment in the already accepted franchise, but it was an alright Jason movie. Good camera work, good kills, and a great Jason. I’d give it a 3/5 stars. #Jason #voorhees #jasonvoorhees #fridaythe13th #friday #weekend #spring #springbreak #movie #movies #2016 #2015 #horror #thriller #gore #remake #reboot #moviereview #moviereviews #movienews #bews #michaelmyers #halloween #freddykrueger #leatherface #texaschainsaw #texas
