Asot Michael Works to Rehabilitate Two Schools
Asot Michael believed that two schools within his constituency had been abandoned by the United Progressive Party (UPP) as well as the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP). Asot Michael has taken it upon himself to improve the two schools, Pares Primary and Parham Primary. The raised funds will improve the school by adding fresh paint and installing hand washing and sanitising stations. A security booth will also be added at the entrance of Pares Primary. Students will also receive a fresh set of supplies. These include school bags, masks, hand sanitizers, exercise books, pens and crayons.
Warrant Against Asot Michael Is Discharged
While dealing with an outlandish civil suit, Asot Michael was fending off some illness. This included high blood pressure, chest pains and a burst blood vessel in his eye. Because of his health concerns, Asot Michael was unable to attend a hearing in the civil matter. He did however send his attorney in his stead to deal with the matter quickly. Unfortunately, this did not appease the magistrate, who issued a warrant for Michael to appear before the court. This is uncommon in a civil trial. The judge went so far as to call the doctor who treated Asot Michael before the court in order to question him. After the doctor was questioned, the warrant was dismissed.
