Jeepers Creepers 3 Review:
I’ve been waiting three or fours years for this, but older fans of the series have been waiting for 14 years. The idiot who decided to give this a one-day only release should be fired on the spot, just about every location across the nation was sold out proving Creeper fans want more of this modern horror icon.

Anyhow to the review. First off, the cast consists of the weakest and least memorable protagonist in their series, but they’re still good. They all have good personalities, are acted well, and have good dialogue. Surprisingly, the romance in the film was not just believable but sweet and the new addition of the Creeper hunters was well executed.

The Creeper himself was flawless. His design is the best in the series and his return is in peak condition. He was defined, humorous, and gleefully sadistic.

The plot, on the other hand, is a mixed bag. The story takes place between one and two and miraculously they capture this without damaging the timeline. In fact, it makes it more realistic. We also get a lot more time with the Creeper and how he operates, which was an engaging and well written aspect.

However. the story overreaches its boundaries in terms of effects. There are some great practical effects and CGI, but there are a total of six awful moments of CGI that they could’ve been avoided. It’s only a total of eight seconds though. The story is good, but just good. It doesn’t impart the same sense of fun and horror the original two did, and it is my least favorite in the trilogy.

Overall, Jeepers Creepers 3 is a good movie and a great return to the countryside for the Creeper. Nonetheless, its weak characters and story make it my least favorite in the series so far. The fourth installment has me hyped though. 6.7/10
