Where to Stay in Branson, Missouri

Branson, Missouri is one of the nation’s favorite travel destinations. Branson is located in Taney and Stone Counties, and it’s in the Ozark Mountains. It’s a very popular place to visit because of the outdoor beauty as well as family-friendly live entertainment, resorts, and shopping and dining options.

As far as entertainment, you can visit Dolly Parton’s Stampede, take in a show at Legends in Concert, or ride on the Branson Belle.

There are three large lakes nearby, including Table Rock Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, and Lake Taneycomo.

Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center

One of the largest hotels in Branson and one of the more well-known is the sprawling Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center. This resort has standard hotel rooms and also large suites that include both sleeping and living areas. Some of the rooms and suites have balconies with lake views.

The hotel is within a short drive from all of Branson’s attractions, including the theater district, and there is also live entertainment and music at the hotel itself.

Other amenities at Chateau on the Lake include a marina with boat rentals and slips, an ice cream shop and an indoor, heated pool.

Marriott’s Willow Ridge Lodge

Marriott’s Willow Ridge Lodge has a peaceful, serene atmosphere that mimics the surrounding beauty of the Ozarks.

The Willow Ridge Lodge features guest rooms as well as one- and two-bedroom villas. There are full kitchens, dining spaces, patios, and washers and dryers in the villas.

The lodge is part of the Marriott Vacation Club, and while it’s close to entertainment and everything else Branson has to offer, it feels secluded.

The resort is directly on Table Rock Lake, and it’s only a few minutes from Silver Dollar City.

There are free paddleboards and kayaks available, aqua cycles, inner tubes, cane fishing, and nearby hiking trails.

StoneBridge Resort

StoneBridge Resort is part of a 3,200-acre gated golf community in Branson. It boasts the LedgeStone Championship Golf Course. The types of units available include standard rooms, suites, villas, lodges, condos, and luxury homes.

The resort includes three swimming pools and three playgrounds. This resort is only one mile from Silver Dollar City and 10 minutes from the entertainment district and other areas of interest in Branson.

There is also a catch and release lake on the property, walking trails, and an onsite restaurant.

Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing

If you want to be right in the center of the action, you might opt for the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing.

This is on Lake Taneycomo and is just across the street from Branson Convention Center within Branson Landing. Branson Landing is a shopping, entertainment, and dining complex.

The hotel features guest rooms as well as suites and condos, some of which have private balconies.

There is an indoor pool, and onsite dining is available at the Level 2 Steakhouse.
